The IRS has extended the 2019 tax filing deadline as part of the Coronavirus tax relief. This extension also applies to the 2019 IRA contributions as well.

Contributions limits for 2019 and 2020 are $6,000 for traditional and Roth IRAs ($7,000 if you’re age 50 or older).
